3/27/2023 0 Comments Realtek audio not working![]() Realtek* High Definition Audio Driver for Windows® 10 & Windows 11* for Intel® NUC8i7BE, NUC8i5BE, NUC8i3BE Products. Is there anything actually NEW in the package? I doubt it. ![]() Guess what you're supposed to do? Install the latest Realtek Audio driver for the NUC.ĭetection Verification in Device Manager on Intel® NUCsįrom what I can tell, this appears to be a re-rolling up of drivers that were originally released for Windows 10 into a package that is supposedly usable on Windows 10 and Windows 11. If you plug your new headphones into the front panel output jack of your PC (make sure your are not plugged into the microphone jack by mistake) then just try each of your audio output options. ![]() Intel has a tech support article for this problem. What I notice is that there is an issue with a "Detection Verification" driver that winds up showing as Disabled in Device Manager. I wish to advise that I have tried that and have wound up with same results. ![]() Your support representative has suggested downloading the driver directly and doing a manual install. The driver offered through Intel DSA was specifically indicated to be for the NUC8iXBE series - the driver title is reproduced below. This appears to be yet another example of non-tested software being rolled out by Intel through the Intel DSA mechanism. I accepted the driver as offered by Intel DSA and wound up with non-working audio as well. ![]()
